New Voters Reflect On Mid-Election Day

Despite the decline in voter turnout, first time voters at Morgan State were pleased with their experience at polls.

“It was good to see people my age see voting as important,” said Kendra Duncan.

As young voters, students hope their colleagues will vote in the future as well.

“We are the future of this country,” said Xavier Mills. “Any decisions that we make are going to be based upon on how we want things to run in the long-haul.”
