NEW YORK — Students from Medgar Evers College in New York will share poems on National Poetic Day of Action on Monday, September 22. Their performances are dedicated to the families and lives of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, who were killed by police earlier this year. This event is sponsored by the English Department.
