Blige as her summer jam, stating that it “kept me moving during the summer. It reminded me of my friends and staying close to those loyal to me.”James Cannon, a junior Broadcast major from Washington, D.C., says his summer jam is “Hot N****” by Bobby Shmurda.Stephanie Etienne, a psychology major from Silver Springs, Md., says her summer jam was Beyonce’s “Flawless.”Chanelle Dewberry, a senior Psychology major from Prince George’s County, Md., says her favorite song is “Bird Flu” by Lorr Scoota “because of the sick beat and because I can’t stop dancing to it.”Corey Paige, a junior Poly Science major from Baltimore, Md., says his favorite summer jam was “Gravity” by John Mayer. “I love this song because of the beat and the artist meaning behind it,” he says.Jaquetta Lawson, a freshman Creative Writing major from Baltimore, Md., says her favorite summer jam was “Really Don’t Care” by Demi Lovato. “It defined my summer,” she says. “I felt encouraged by this song dealing with heartbreak and judgmental people.”
