The Morgan State Bears (0-5) will face the South Carolina State Bulldogs (1-4) on Saturday in Dawson Stadium in Orangeburg, S.C. at 3:30 p.m.

The game is being streamed live on ESPN3. A live broadcast can also be listened to on 88.9FM.

The Bears will try to earn their first win of the season Saturday while the Bulldogs will try to make their home crowd proud for their homecoming game.

“These last few weeks we’ve kind of beaten ourselves,” Morgan graduate quarterback Neil Boudreau said. “Whether it’s penalties or just small individual assignment errors.”

Both teams lost their last games.

Morgan was defeated 27-0 by Howard on Oct. 8 while South Carolina State lost 30-7 to Florida A&M on Oct. 9.

The Bears only accumulated 116 total yards of offense in their last game and the Bulldogs only earned eight first downs in their previous matchup.

Morgan junior linebacker Lawrence Richardson said in order to defeat South Carolina State, it will take “everybody doing their part and playing four quarters… not just playing two quarters.”
