Football team enters conference play as they face Howard University

Morgan State will try to improve their record to 1-0 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play this Friday night.

Morgan State’s football team (0-4) will face Howard University (1-4) this Friday at 8 p.m. in Greene Stadium in Washington, D.C.

The Bears lost their last game against Saint Francis 27-14.

Morgan quarterback Neil Boudreau threw for a career-high 206 passing yards in his team’s loss.

Meanwhile, Howard earned their first victory of the season on Oct. 2 after defeating Sacred Heart 22-17.

Howard junior quarterback Quinton Williams (14-for-28 for 209 yards) threw three touchdown passes in the win.

Two of his three touchdown passes were thrown to senior wide receiver Matthew McDonald.
