The location for the Spring 2016 commencement exercises has been moved due to impending inclement weather expected early Saturday morning.
According to Morgan State University’s homepage, the exercises have moved from the open Hughes Memorial Stadium to inside the Talmadge Hill Field House. Due to limited seating, guests will only be admitted into the Field House upon presenting the “Admit” tickets at the front door.
Graduating seniors will receive four tickets to distribute to their guests and guests that do not have a ticket must report to the other locations that will stream the exercises via satellite in the Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center located on south campus.
From the homepage, the other locations are as follows:
Gilliam Concert Hall in the Murphy Fine Arts Center (The South Campus), with a 2,000-seat capacity
Recital Hall in Murphy Fine Arts Center (The South Campus), with a 167-seat capacity
Turpin-Lamb Theatre in Murphy Fine Arts Center (The South Campus), with a 271-seat capacity
The MSU Spokesman will update this story with more details.
