The Morgan State Bears (3–6, 0–2 MEAC) look to halt a two-game losing streak and capture their first conference win against Delaware State (6–3, 2–0 MEAC) this Friday for a very anticipated conference matchup.
The university sent out an email announcing changes to campus parking and event access in preparation for the game.
According to the email, event and tailgate parking will begin at 3 p.m. in multiple locations across campus.
Designated parking areas include: Murphy Fine Arts (Lots Y and X), Montebello (Lot U), the Alumni House (Lot Z), the School of Business (Lot QN), the Behavioral and Social Sciences Center (BSSC), and the North Campus Garage near CBEIS.
Parking at Northwood Commons shopping plaza and the fuel pump lot across from the Alumni House is prohibited. Vehicles parked there may be ticketed or towed, with towed vehicles sent to Greenwood Towing in Baltimore.
Approximately half of the Commons Garage will be unavailable to faculty/staff and commuter students for the entire day.
Parking in Lots Y, QN, or the North Campus Garage once Commons reaches capacity is encouraged.
Regular parking operations are scheduled to resume Monday, Nov. 10.
Friday’s matchup marks the 68th meeting between Morgan State and Delaware State since 1945. The Bears lead the all-time series 42–26.
This will be Delaware State’s first season under head coach DeSean Jackson, the former NFL wide receiver and Pro Bowl return specialist. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Hughes Stadium.
