Homecoming Tuesday

Homecoming week continues as the coronation ceremony for Mister & Miss Morgan State University is tonight at 7 p.m. in the Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center, Gilliam Concert Hall. Kendall Joyner is Mister Morgan and Heather Guzman is Miss Morgan for the 2017-2018 academic school year.

Later this week:

The Legends Plaza Unveiling & Dedication ceremony for Legends Plaza will be held Thursday, Oct 12 at 10 a.m. The ceremony will take place in Morgan Commons area between Hughes Stadium and the University Student Center. Morgan State alumnus and former NFL player George Nock, designed and created the plaza.

The Performing Arts Convocation has been rescheduled for this Thursday, 11 a.m.-Noon in the Turpin-Lamb Theatre in the Murphy Fine Arts Center.

The Homecoming Game:

The Morgan State Bears (0-5) versus the Savannah State University Tigers (0-5) this Saturday, Oct 14 at 1 p.m. in Hughes Stadium. The Bears have six conference games left this season, including three at home.
