A preliminary hearing for the suspect accused in the stabbing death of Morgan State University student Gerald Williams will be held on April 26.
Harry Malik Robertson, 20, of the 2200 block of Forest Glade Lane in Suitland, MD was denied bail early Friday during a hearing in Baltimore City District Court.
Robertson, himself a former Morgan student was arrested Thursday in Prince Georges County late Wednesday. Robertson was charged with single counts of first degree and second-degree murder and intent to injure with a dangerous weapon.
Robertson is currently being held without bail in a Baltimore City Correctional facility.
Williams was fatally stabbed following an altercation outside the Morgan View Apartments, an off-campus housing complex Feb. 1 following the Morgan-Coppin men’s basketball game.
