Tailor Clay, a 12-year-old gymnast, has ideas about spanking.
“The beating depends on what you did bad,” she says. “Really bad is if you get into a fight or something at school. Not so bad is if you don’t clean up the kitchen or something.”
Speaking from personal experience, Tailor says: “My dad beat me with his big bare hands because I didn’t clean the kitchen and sweep, but it didn’t really hurt because I have a lot of muscle.”
She thinks there are more effective ways.
“If he took my phone or told me I couldn’t go outside, I would have really learned my lesson.”
