A man was shot near the corner of East Cold Spring Lane and Hillen Road late Saturday night.
According to Baltimore Police, officers on patrol heard gunfire near the intersection of Hillen Road and East Cold Spring Lane around 11:40 p.m. A 21-year-old man — who was shot — flagged them down.
Initial investigations show the victim, who is not affiliated with the university, was walking in the 1600 block of E. Cold Spring Lane when he heard gunshots and ran.
Detectives from the Northeast District shooting unit responded to the scene and taken over the investigation. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment but his condition is unknown.
