Baltimore City police are responding to an armed robbery in the 1520 building of Morgan View Apartments, one of Morgan State University’s
off-campus student residences Tuesday evening, according to an email distributed by Morgan police.
The robbery took place around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to police. Three suspects reportedly forced their way into one of the apartments and “took several items” according to the email.
The suspects then fled the scene on foot and remain at large at the time of this article’s publication. They’ve been described as Black males wearing masks. No further description of the suspects was provided in the email, which also omitted the gender and number of victims.
Students and faculty were alerted via a campus-wide email sent around 9 p.m. that evening. There are no reported injuries from the incident. City police are currently investigating the scene.
Update, Feb. 15, 2024: The Baltimore City Police Department has identified one of the suspected robbers as 21-year-old Nicholas Knight. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
According to Morgan’s Office of Public Relations, the robbery is believed to have been a targeted incident. Morgan View’s security protocols are currently being reviewed by the university.

Same person that was with the security guard Julian Frough when he was murdered. The student that was arrested stated that both Knight and Frough had tried to rob him and he was defending himself. Crazy part is he’s incarcerated because of this guy and his friends at Morgan State targeting the students.
