Question of the Week: How did BEARTransit’s reduced shuttle services affect students?

Morgan’s BEARTransit services experienced “unforeseen challenges” the first two weeks of the semester that resulted in shuttles operating on a reduced schedule for the first two weeks of classes.

The Spokesman asked students on campus  how the reduced shuttle services affected them.

The BEARTransit shuttle services have since increased on and off campus.

Shuttle service times are:

Altus/ TowsonTown Place/ HH Midtown

Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-1:00 AM (contracted vendor)

Friday-Saturday     7:00 AM-2:00 AM (contracted vendor)

Sunday                  10:00 AM-7:00 PM (contracted vendor)

Morgan View/ Marble Hall

Monday-Friday        7:30 AM -11:00 PM (BEARtransit-Blue Route)

Monday-Thursday   11:00 PM-1:00 AM (contracted vendor)

Friday                      11:00 PM-2:00 AM (contracted vendor)

Saturday                  7:00 AM-2:00 AM (contracted vendor)

Sunday                    10:00 AM-7:00 PM (contracted vendor)

“We appreciate your understanding and patience throughout this process as the University has worked tirelessly to restore shuttle service to its full capacity,” the Office of Business & Auxiliary Services said in an email.
