Morgan’s men’s and women’s basketball teams were scheduled to face Delaware State on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., but the athletic department announced the games have been postponed due to inclement weather.

The women’s basketball team was slated to play a Delaware State team that has yet to win a game in 11 tries.

Delaware State’s men’s basketball team also has a low record as they have won two out of 16 games.

Both of Morgan’s teams suffered defeats in their last games.

The women’s team lost 64-52 to Norfolk State on Jan. 24.

Graduate forward Dahnye Redd scored a team-high 15 points in the loss.

The men’s team also lost to Norfolk State on Jan. 24 after being defeated 82-62.

They were outscored 47-29 in the second half.

The men’s game has been rescheduled to Sunday at 2 p.m. The Lady Bears will face Delaware State on Feb. 16 at 5 p.m.

Morgan’s men’s and women’s basketball teams’ next scheduled games are on Jan. 31 against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
