Last week, the Earl S. Richardson Library cut its operating hours during the week of midterm exams.

Instead of traditionally staying open for 24 hours during the exam week, the library shortened its hours from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. from Oct. 11 to 15.

Richard Bradberry, director of library services noted the university’s COVID-19 safety protocol and past statistical data as the reasoning for the shortened operation hours.

In this Question of the Week segment, students expressed how the reduced midterm week hours affected them.
