15 COVID-19 cases confirmed on campus the week of Oct. 3 to 9

Nine students and six employees tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

15 positive COVID-19 cases were detected on campus last week, marking a total of 67 positive cases on campus this semester.

According to the weekly testing data provided by Anita Hawkins, associate dean in the School of Public Health and Policy, 1,071 tests were administered.

868 students and 203 employees were tested. Out of 1,071 tests, nine students and six employees tested positive.

On-campus COVID-19 testing is available to all individuals on campus. It is required for all unvaccinated students and staff to get tested twice weekly.

The student testing site was relocated from the Calvin and Tina Tyler Ballroom in the University Student Center to Montebello Room B-200.

COVID-19 testing is now available on Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. in the Montebello complex. To schedule a COVID-19 test, visit the University health portal.
